My dog is 135.5 lbs. this harness feels like it’s sturdy and will hold up well. If he pulls or tries to chase an animal - I think this harness will hold up when I pull him back to me.

Our shitzu/bichon mix is 8 1/2 lbs, so we ordered an XS for her. But it's still too big and does not fit snug on her. Otherwise the harness appears to be well made. However, there is a strange metallic clicking sound when I walk her that I can't identify the source.

Excellent and it fits my 10 pound toy poodle.

It is very simple to put on My German Shepherd loves it, and it doesn't choke her if she starts.to pull me. Great quality, and well design .Very satisfied with it. Would not buy anything else.

Fits our puppies perfectly. One has a red Grip Harness and the other has a blue one. Very well made. Not a cheaply made Harness but a quality product. The name and phone number are a great added feature. Love these and they make our puppies even more beautiful!

Love the Harness! Her Puppy friend recommended it to us - for a Pit-mix, it worked great and let me get back to the training commands I used to use. When I purchased itm I thought I had to add a phone number. Realizing this, I wish I hadn't added my phone number.

I’d love to rate the Grip Harness with snpisitive review; however, I placed my order on September 28, 2025 and today is October 14, 2025. The response from the vendor this week was it is in transit.

I would like to get my harness that I ordered a month ago, then I could rate it. But cannot get any customer service. BAD experience.

Sometimes this harness comes unsnapped. This has happened several times. Otherwise I like it. Please give me feedback on the unsnapping issue. This has happened while walking the dog or when he is running to chase a ball.

It is best harness they last lifetime yes, I have bought two of them I give the harness 5 stars

The Grip Harness is just that a harness that grips "Mc" comfortably for better control at shoulder level while allowing freedom of motion without interference. When off-leash she runs freely, the Grip Harness doesn't affect range of motion and the leash can be attached quickly and easily when needed.

I just moved into an HOA area, and she has to be on a harness or a leash should I say and I don't want her having just a collar and Leash the harness makes it so much easier to walk her

Both of my girls (Collies) have a Grip Harness and matching leash. Love how easy it is to put on and it looks great with their name and phone number (which is blacked out for security reasons). The leash has a grip handle to keep it from falling off your wrist…another great feature.

Big Scam bad reviews from better business bureau never delivered say it’s been shipped all over the state say it’s wrong address and they have your address SCAMMERS And they make there own reviews !!!

Unfortunately I lost Mugsy unexpectedly last Tuesday (9/23/25, his birthday, he was 2). After purchasing the grip harness our walks were less stressful. He was not pulling as hard or as much. I truly like the Harness and should I get another dog, a grip harness will be purchased!

We purchased a grip harness for our fur baby less than a year ago and now it has stretched out. Our fur baby has managed to get her head out while walking her. I emailed them about this situation as was told to purchase a smaller one. ( for almost a year it fit perfectly with no issues and within the last 2 days she has gotten out of it).This is extremely poor customer service. Will not be purchasing any of their products again.

Harness fit perfect and so easy to use.

It's easy on and our Scout doesn't mind wearing it. It really helps us when we walk her, she doesn't pull as much and we're able to control her walking better. And the top grip handle helps us when we have her at the dog bark and she wants to play too hard with the other dogs, we are able to grab her quicker. We really love it.

Our lab is 95 lbs and extremely strong. I am 250 lbs and strong, and when he wants to go I have all I can do to hold him back, This product does no work on our dog

I have tried many different harnesses and always returned them as they were not suitable for me; your harness is absolutely amazing; easy to put on and comfortable for Millie and I have found she walks better and does not pull on her walks anymore thank you very much for making my life easier Pat

This harness fits nice. Lily still continues to pull. I have tried a short leash and a long leash. I am not happy with the results..

The Velcro keeps unsticking. He’s gotten off of it a couple times when we were around a busy street.

Easy to put on. Stays in place and most importantly Paddy is comfortable during his walks. Love your product!

Our dog has a large chest and it was difficult finding a harness that would fit. The harness not only fits well but is easy to put on and take off.

Thank you for this harness. I am a 61 year old disabled lady but when my 14 yr old Hannah died I seen a picture of this puppy. I don't know what I was thinking but I had tried other collars and harnesses but nothing worked. But with this harness I actually can take Persy around the block. I'm not sure how it works but it does. So thank you and I am sure Persy thanks you too.

I love the fit (adjustable). Usually an XL is still small, but this was perfect.

For our Lola, an English bulldog, a True Harness is a must. It allows her to be comfortable on walks and never restricts her breathing. It’s also easy to put in her. I love we can choose pink so she looks girlie - for a bully!

Like the harness but quality isn't consistent overall.

Having a 75 lb boxer helps me control her.

I love it . It helps holding her back because she is a puller and goes after anything. So I’m glad I got one.

Cooper is very small and we always have problems finding the color of the fit and was safe to him to wear, his new collar is the perfect size and he feels very secure in it.

The adjustment on the strap under the dog is held by an inferior piece of plastic. As soon as the dog starts swimming, or running, the bottom strap becomes loose, meaning that the strap is now dangerous for the dog as their paws can go through the bottom strap. The only way to stop this is by sewing the strap to the correct lenght

It's really nice, but it's too big. I tried tightening it up all the way, but my dog slips right out of it. He weighs about 25 to 26 lbs. I need to exchange it.

I was hoping the Gripp harness would reduce the amount of pulling that my dogs does on his leash. It doesn't do anything. It's also a bit big for him around the chest/tummy. He is a 49 pound border collie. I'm sad it doesn't work that well.

Great Harness , no complaints , In my case I have & English Golden Retriever , easy on & off ,great help getting in & out of car , great for walks , the only thing I would change in design is a tougher fabric because if left on for extended time he scratches and sometimes a hard scratch rips fabric ,it doesn't destroy the harness but makes it look ugly . My solution is to only let him wear it when we walk & keep & eye on him but it's super easy on & off !

Athena loves her halter and it is certainly helpful when she tries to chase the squirrels while on leash!!

I Like how easy it is to put on and take off as well as how sturdy it is without being restrictive on my doggy. The only thing that’s bothersome is the Velcro strap on the back is too long and hangs there and no way to fold or hide it .. a little annoying any suggestions ? Didn’t want to cut it worry it would fray and make matters worse… Janice Carey

Milo won’t wear it. Probably should have ordered one size smaller as buckle seems to bother him between front leg and chest. Tried a couple of times but it really seems to bother him

i ordered this at lease a month or almost 2 now. i still have not seen it so I can not give you a picture of it as i still do not have it. aparenly i had everything right for the address to send to iexcept fdor the proper zip code. 56274 ibstead of 56374 to it to be delivered to. then i was asked to correct it and i did. then i was asked to pay 5.95 $ to have it delivered . i have not seen any thing else yet. first time ordering, verything else was correct on the address. as of now i woud never ordered any thing from grip harness and I am about to demand my money back!!!! 45 plus dollares and i have not seen anything !!!

I have two of these and love them. The only problem was that it took three months after my initial order for them to arrive!!!

I have a 12 plus year old lab mix with hip problems. I am able to slip this harness over his head without him having to step into it (like the old harness I had). I am pleased with the harness and the price.

When I ordered this for our GS, I was excited. There was little response from the company so I decided to check reviews and some reviews were not so good. Not on the product but just time getting the harness. So I figured after a few weeks that I was just out and ordered 2 from a company I knew. The 2 came and I wasn't thrilled with them but workable. Then I got a notice that my grip harness was being delivered and there it was. Took probably a good month but it is wonderful and exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Grip Harness! Jake and I are excited to use it on our next trip.

My only dissatisfaction is where the product is made.

I tried other harnesses he didn't like them at all but like you see he is very relaxed and 3 seconds like everyone else says very happy

I really like this harness. It makes it easy for me to walk Chloe and confident that it isn't hurting her. I would highly recommend this harness and leash.

Purchased 2 harnesses. 1 year later, one of them fell apart, stitching was defective and dog almost hit by a car. The other collar is fine. The issue, Grip Harness will never stand by their product, they point to their policies, which are shorter than any other brand on the market. Would never buy this product again, there are plenty of others with the same design that stand by their product. Do not be fooled by this company, save your money, spend it elsewhere.

Work well makes handling large dog easy

These are the only harness I will use on my Pugs! So easily applied and comfortable for my babies!

This is my 3rd harness. Still use all three. The only issue is he loves to back out just to show me he can. There is no choking with this harness and I feel safe with him wearing when walking and he struts in style.

The only thing the dog doesn't like is the sound when clipping the harness. It frightens him. Once he is wearing it, no problem. I'm happy that we have found a harness that he can't escape. The harness is also very nice looking. Thank you.

He really needs a larger vest but I didn't see one offered, that's the downside of not being able to actually view the product personally. This does barely fit but the velcro strap doesn't function as intended. It does work and I'm happy with that.

He never wants to take it off. He loves it. This is his second harness.

Our second GripHarness, the original has gotten a lot of use and is still in service when we go camping. Very secure, super easy to put on and off, and the grab handle is super useful when necessary.

Sparkles loves wearing her new hoarse. She looks good with it on and she does not like to take it off. I plan to order another one soon. The set belt work good.
