The dig is a one year old puppy who weighs 70 pounds. The vest is wonderful but the clip to attach the car seat to the vest is very weak. She tried to jump into front seat and the clip snapped on the second day she was wearing it

Since this strap plugs into seatbelt buckle, to make it effective your back seat really needs to be about six feet or more behind front seats. When you have to jam on brakes quickly your dog gets thrown against back of front seat. Even adjusting it to its shortest length. This still happens. I had to buy another strap that fits under adjustable head rest.

This is not about the safety grip but the gripharness. I keep seeing about the 60 day guarantee but I can not seem to get an answer about the red material,behind the head, where it was not caught by the stitching. Love the safety grip and gripharness but very disappointed in the communication. You should honor your agreement.

I feel so much better knowing Benji is secure in his seat belt. I don't have to worry about him getting slammed around if I get in an accident, I also don't have to worry about him trying to climb in my lap while I'm driving. Only thing I have a problem with is the latch comes unmatched. My dog has come loose from the harness is when he rolls on the ground and when the lease hits the latch and releases one side of the latch and on the next tug it totally releases. It would be great if it had a secondary safety lock so this doesn't happen again. Right know I cannot use it because of a chance he gets loose.

I like this seatbelt. It is much better than the common solutions that involve a harness. The only issue is that the clasp is not heavy duty enough. My 70 pound boxer lunged out of the car at one point and totally broke the clasp. Now I am going to have to buy another and can't afford it right now.
